* Regarding My Graphics *

If your graphic from my blog is not showing up, I do apologize.

Please just reinstall the source code into your HTML/Java Gadget.

Why it is not working:

Cox Communications shut down my File Manager.  (They said I was exceeding the allowable bandwidth)

But, I consider that GOOD NEWS!  This means you like my graphics! *happy dance*
Anyhoo, I am in the process of recoding my graphics with Cox Communications out of the picture.

If you have any questions just email me or post a comment and I will be more than happy to answer.

Handmade Ornaments from the Sea

A couple weekends ago we were fortunate enough to get the chance to experience a taste of the Christmas Season on Maui.

One early morning we took a walk through the “Whalers Village” shopping center.

I had so much fun window shopping.

I had never been to the Islands around this time of year.

So I was like a child in a candy store.

I was drawing to this pink Christmas tree at a store called “Totally Hawaiian”.

I didn’t even need it to be open to have fun taking pictures of the beautiful handmade ornaments, each sparkling in the early morning sunlight.

There were sand dollars, seashells, and starfish.

All against a beautiful backdrop of pink.

I think my favorite ornament is the Santa with the snorkel.

Which is yours?

Christmas Treasure

I do hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

I would like to say the sweetest “thank you” if you had a chance to stop by over your busy weekend.   I really do appreciate it.

Today I would like to share one of my favorite Christmas decorations.

It is a little box made by Fitz & Floyd called “Christmas Treasure”.

I adore the colors used in all the frosted and sugared cookies with the “Dear Santa” note tucked in the middle of the pile.

Every year I enjoy unwrapping this decoration just as I did the first time I bought it.  (Must have been the early 1990’s)

Even I forget some years when I open the box to find the little mouse inside munching on one of the cookies.

Tea – FREE Animated Graphic

Animation has opened a whole new world of possibilities for me in the world of blog graphic designs for you.

So, today I introduce my newest animated design with a background of lace and a tin of tea.

This time of year, we are all looking for some warmth which can always, undeniably be found in a cup of tea.

Thank you to Terri

I won!  I won!  Thank you Terri!

Terri Gordon had a wonderful giveaway over at her lovely blog and I was the winning number.

She wrapped the gift so carefully and included a beautiful card with it.

I carefully unwrapped the pink paper to find a beautiful teacup set.

I had made the comment over at Terri’s that I had never even seen a two handled teacup.

And then I won it.

How cool is that?

As you can see I adore pink roses.

So it found a perfect home.

Again I want to thank Terri Gordon for her generosity and her exquisite taste.

Teacup Tuesday with Martha and Terri

I am happy to be participating in Martha and Terri’s “Tea Cup Tuesday”!
nov21-2 037
This week I am showing a teacup in my favorite combination of blue and white.

nov21-2 022

This teacup was made in England by the Burleigh Company.
nov21-2 039
This is Burleigh's most famous pattern and is called  “Blue Calico”.
nov21-2 021
This rich cobalt blue pattern has been produced for over 100 years.

nov21-2 076
I found this absolutely lovely variety pack of honey-clover stirrers.

It looks like a jewel with the sunshine streaming through it.

nov21-2 103
I knew I would have so much fun taking pictures of them for you.

nov21-2 107

And I did.

nov21-2 160

I can’t wait to show you the other shapes.
