Nineteenth Century Roses

The original watercolors of these botanical roses were published in London in the early 1800’s.

My favorite is the Single Indian Rose.

The single indian rose reminds me of the Desert Rose Franciscan dinnerware!

I would never have guessed some of these were roses. You opened my eyes to something new.

Roses are so very beautiful, aren't they, Mo? I have a big bunch of long stemmed red ones, with baby's breath, on the kitchen table. They were a gift from my son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law on Monday, which was my birthday! Susan
