Nowadays I am not really looking to add anything new to my collections.
But sometimes, the right item at the right price presents itself and. . . well. . .
I suppose I need no excuses why I brought this statue home the other day.
I was drawn to it like a moth to a flame.
I even had the perfect place in the house waiting for her.
A few days later I started adorning her with a vintage silver rosary,
And some of my most beautiful dried roses I have saved from my rose garden.
And the best part to me was making this crown for her.
Mary is after all, the Queen of the Angels.
I made the crown from purchasing a simple metal bracelet cuff from Michael's jewelry making section and bending it to a desired shape. Then I finished it off by adding a beautiful jewel in the center.
I still would like to make her a crown of roses, but I suppose that will be in the future.
Petals of love to you all,
mo
