One thing I love to do during the extra time on my days off is bake for my family.
This is a recipe I cherished growing up.
I wanted to give my son the same memories I had growing up of the home baked goods always around that were baked with so much love.
This one is one of my all time favorites.
It is my mother's recipe for Banana Nut Bread.
It contains sour cream which must be it's secret to tasting so good.
One thing I know for sure. . .
The riper the bananas are, the better the bread tastes.
In my next post I will give you the recipe for this delicious tradition of ours.
So do stay tuned. . .

Those muffins sound heavenly and I just love the floral cupcake cases. Can't wait to see them filled.
Oh Mo! Don't you LOVE how OH rhymes with Mo? Just sayin....Anyway, I can't wait for your banana bread recipe. I am always trying them for my son. He doesn't eat sweets (I know-I know-there is something basically wrong with him) but he LOVES banana bread! Sweet post about your Mom's recipe! xo Diana
