Vintage rhinestone jewelry seems to be “all the rage” these days.
It is easy to see why.
I remember my mother always stored her vintage pieces of jewelry separately in little boxes.
It was fun watching her open each box and lifting the little cotton blanket inside to uncover the treasure.
I have learned it is best to store vintage rhinestone pieces separately, or between soft Kleenex tissue so they are not damaged. The metal off of the back can scratch off easily.
If rhinestones are ever cleaned, they should be cleaned carefully with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol because water can tarnish the foil backing.

I hope you all having an enchanting week so far.
