I especially love blackberries.
Or “dewberries” as we called them in Texas.
They lend themselves well surrounded by the roses in my house.
This rose is from my rose garden. A miracle in itself since the high temperature these days is over 100 degrees F.
I really appreciate old hand painted plates and dishes. I admire the thought and work someone has put into it.
This bone china jampot was made in England by Adderley and is trimmed in gold. By looking at the mark on the bottom of the jampot, I know this piece was made prior to 1950. Adderley's (floral) bone china is often decorated with delicate hand-made bone china flowers like the yellow ones here on the lid of this adorable jampot.

You have very lovely things, Mo. I also love hand-painted plates. So pretty.
By the way, I loved your soaps on the other post. Some of them looked good enough to eat!
My favorite interior designer, Alexandra Stoddard, always writes about a fabulous French almond soap. Wow, I'd like to try that. Have you ever checked out her website? She's great! I think you'd enjoy her. Susan
It is amazing the rose is available in your garden when the temperatures are so high! Your pictures are beautiful and I think your blog is lovely. Clare
