Congratulations on your anniversary. It isn't often that we see someone who has shared their whole life with the one they love. I just celebrated 44 years with my hubby and I can't imagine being with anyone else.

Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. Yes, I love recalling stories of my parents and grandparents. My grandmother "Jean" lived in Buffalo at some point after she and her family came from Italy when she was nine.

I hope you and your parents had a wonderful time for their anniversary. 56 years is a long time and it deserved a great celebration. My parents were married 50 years, but my father passed away shortly after that. We all have beautiful pictures and memories of that day. Thanks for sharing:-)
