A floral ring made of shells shows off one of my favorite colors; orchid.
It is embellished in gold and strewn with flowers and garlands. I especially adore the little angel. It is unmarked so I really cannot pin point it’s age.
The picture above shows the unusual shape of this precious dish.
This vintage French Holy card shows a beautiful autumn view of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes and when translated it says, “Go tell the priests to build a chapel here and we will come in procession.”
Another old Holy card of St. Therese of the Child-Jesus. It was also made in France. I adore how the angels and the roses surround her and she is one of the reasons I have named my blog “Rose Petals from Heaven”.
One of her famous quotes is, "My way is all confidence and love”.
My jewelry box key added a nice touch to this photo session.
My translation is:
The Lord forgives relentlessly,
For small, the humble of heart;
In the sheath (or covering) of His gentleness.
This vintage card has real flower petals on it and is translated to “Flowers of the Holy Land”. A very simple card with a beautiful message.
