A Bath of Lavender

Lavender originated from the Latin word lavare, meaning to wash.

It was given this name because of the ancient use of lavender in bath waters.

It is known to balance and sooth sensitive skin.

Essential oils, whether in soap, salts, or bubbles can transform your bath into a relaxing escape from the stress of the day.

During your relaxing soak, sip a cup of tea, perhaps chamomile, for it is also known to calm the soul.

I find The  Segovia Collection (Vol. 1): The Legendary Andres Segovia in an All-Bach Program a perfect soundtrack to my bath time.

Lately I have been using my lavender soy candle made by “EO”.  It is heavenly.

Lavender has been traditionally known to “raise the spirit”.   A warm lavender bath can be a wonderful prescription for a good night sleep.

Let today be filled with relaxing moments and enjoy.

I love lavender. I love the essential oil, the room sprays, dried flowers, and seeing fields of lavender.
Thank you for the bit of history and the reminder.

I, too, love lavender. I use it everyday in jojoba oil. I so enjoy it in my garden. Thank you for the information and your beautiful site.
