Sunday I received a wonderful surprise visit from my mother and father.
It was magical.
We get to enjoy it all week long.
This Easter lily has the sweetest fragrance to it. It is indescribable.
When my teenage son saw the plant, I asked him to smell the flower as I have always done since he was old enough to walk. ( kindly he did. )
I suppose inside I am hoping he will always remember to close his eyes and lose himself in a flower's fragrance, even for just that moment.
It is one of many of heaven's gifts where one can find peace.
I hope you are finding peaceful moments of reflection this week.
*hugs*

I love Easter lillies too...how sweet of your mom...do you plant yours in the garden after Easter is over?...I have left a trail of them in the gardens of houses I have lived in...must be time to get one for the new garden :)
Blessings kelsie
Oh Mo, your mom sounds like such a delightful lady. You must take after her in her playfulness.
Oh, don't you just love Easter lilies? They are so magestic and beautiful.
Take care, dear Mo. Have a peaceful and wonderful evening. Susan
Dearest Mo,
Indeed one ought to close his/her eyes for smelling the frangrance of those pure white easter lilies!
Have a meaningful Good Friday and a Happy Easter!
Lots of love,
Mariette
What a sweet surprise to have a visit from your parents. The picture of the lily is beautiful, I can just about smell it.
I hope you have a wonderful Easter and the lily continues to bring you joy all week.
