There By Your Side

Very well, there is one there by your side; he never leaves you.

Our good God has made him invisible, that he may follow you everywhere, see you everywhere, and guard you everywhere.

As soon as you came into the world, he descended near your cradle, he embraced you as his little brother; he rocked you with the nurse, and covered you with his two wings that you might sleep tranquilly.

And now that your big, and talk as you wish, and act as you think proper, he is still there to give you good advice, to send you good inspirations.”
