Yesterday, my mother invited me out to a " Villa High Tea " lunch to celebrate my birthday.
At a magical place called " Cathy Rumcake's ".
It was here, over twenty two years ago, my mother and I ordered the cake for my wedding.
And over sixteen years ago I ordered the cake for my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary Celebration.
Since we had arrived early,
My mother and I had the place to ourselves for awhile.
So I asked Cathy if she would mind if I took some pictures of her beautiful shop.
And gracefully she said, "not at all".
Through these pictures you can feel the Tuscan ambiance.
There is so much more I can't wait to show you about this wonderful afternoon, so check back soon!

What a beautiful post! I love that you have a special place for each memory, Christie
happy birthday!!!
What a most special place to celebrate your birthday, and may I wish you "Happy Birthday"! I am so pleased the owner permitted you to share pictures with us......a real treat to see such a unique and beatifully decorated business. I cannot wait to see more! By the way, one of my all time favorite songs is "Fly Me to the Moon"! The line that says, "let me play among the stars" fascinates me.
Mo! When was your birthday? Yesterday? Oh my. How did I miss that? If I were there, I would sing this but this will have to do:
"On the day that Mo was born
On the day that Mo was born
On the day that Mo was born
The angels sang, and they blew on their horns,
And they danced, and they danced
And they smiled and raised up their hands,
On the day, on the day, that Mo was borrrrrnnnnnnnnnnn!"
Happy late birthday and thanks for making the world a more beautiful, gentler place. Susan
Really a lovely place and Happy Birthday!
