Before my holiday ended, I wanted to be sure to post about one of my favorite holiday cookies.
I cannot remember a Christmas during my childhood without the homemade Peanut Blossoms. (click here for the recipe)
When we were little my sister and I had the job of carefully unwrapping each Hershey kiss.
And shaping each little ball of dough;
Before rolling it in sugar.
My mother had the job of baking each batch to perfection,
Filling the house with the holiday scent of Peanut Blossoms.
As I grew older,
I held the tradition close.
And they have become his favorite holiday cookie now.
And they are simply…delicious. (Especially with tea!)

I love those cookies! And I am now thinking I did not have a single one this year:( and now I am dieting, so it will be a while before I do enjoy them. Love your rose colored vase and your elegant tea set.
Blessings~

Not only are they so pretty, but they are simply d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s, too!
Your cranberry glass vase is to die for...Isn't it beautiful with the light streaming through it?
Warm Hugs,

I wish I was sitting there with you enjoying a cup of tea and a blossom or two. Happy New Year! La
Thank you for your freebies! I just became a follower and am sure I'll enjoy visiting in the new year.
My mom always makes those cookies, but for some reason this year she didn't. She was thrilled when my daughter brought some to Christmas dinner. Your tiered server is lovely, as are the other pieces in your tea set. Happy New Year! ♥♫
I use to have those cookies every year! My ex mother in law use to make them. She is dead and gone now. I need to learn to make them. My New Year resolution is to learn how to cook. My cooking is horrible! Really
