Once in a Lifetime

My son turned 18 last week.

And as I was picking out a birthday card for him in the store;

This song started playing.

It is a song that I have always loved.

I remember singing it to him when he was 15.

Now he is a man . . .

Oh...this almost brought me to tears! I LOVE that song, too. It says SO MUCH, doesn't it? I don't understand how our babies grew up to be men...so quickly! Happy (belated) Birthday to your awesome/handsome son! Hugs...

That is a beautiful song and your son is so handsome and he will always be your baby! My babies are all grown and gone with babies of their own and I miss having them around...even the teenage version of them and we all know that was crazy but now it seems like heaven. Time does go by in the blink of an eye...
