Lemonicious

We are fortunate to have a small citrus orchard in our backyard.

lemon1

There are oranges, grapefruits, kumquats, and a ton of lemons!

This is the time of year I love.

When I need a lemon or lemon juice, I just walk out back and pick one!

lemon4

How cool is that?

Life gives us tons of lemons.

lemon2

So many we must share them with family and friends.

lemon8

We gave some to my mother and she gave us back some delicious lemon bars.

lemon9

They were the best lemon bars I have ever had.  Baked with love and fresh lemons.
Thanks Mom!

I will have to get the recipe from her and share it with you.

I do hope your week is going well and do something nice for yourself today!

You deserve it.

*hugs*

Hi, What a blessing to have lemons in their own home. Its juicy lemons look good with a lot of juice, any dessert of lemon, lemonade, sometimes I even delivery through the middle and put them in the kitchen to acclimate the environment with its fresh aroma!, Greetings, Rose Marie

You are so lucky. I adore having fresh lemons on hand. My in-laws bring bags full up to Portland. I squeeze them, freeze the juice in ice cube trays, then put them in a baggie and save. Oh...maybe I'll have to do a blog post about it. Enjoy...I'm sure it's not snowing there like it is here in Portland, OR.
