What Dreams Are Made Of

This weekend I decided to get “crafty”.

I made this beautiful paper cone and filled it with white paper roses I purchased at Michaels.

Soon, I would like to try my hand at making my own paper roses during this season where my rose garden is taking a long deserved nap.

I began with a piece of scrap paper covered in vintage letters and postage stamps.

I then glued beaded ribbon around the rim and placed some vintage jewelry at the center on top.

I added a bow below the sparkles and some silver glitter accents.

I am thrilled with the result!

And that is a good thing because I will likely try my hand at some more soon.

This beautiful Santos is from the Wendy Addison collection.

I decided to title this post “What dreams are made of” because these pictures came out so ethereal.

To me dreams are made of pure light and beauty…
                   …and lots of roses.
