Planting This Year's Lavender

On the way home from work on Friday, I stopped by the nursery to pick up this year's lavender.

I ended up planting it today.

My roses are finally budding again. *smile*

My little critters came out to see what was new.

I planted the lavender right next to my roses.

I figured my roses adore this spot, so too will the lavender.

I was fortunate to have beautiful weather.

I even put in the sprinkler system to the new plants!

I also pulled some weeds that had taken residence among my roses.

It look's like you had a fun time gardening! I like to watch the critters in our garden also. As long as the gurls leave them alone all is fine. Have a great weekend....Julian

I see you have so much inspiration for your beautiful art..and you inspire me. I think I'll get me some lavender too! I don't have a garden..only a patio but it will be lovely just the same.

Wonderful! You were able to get some planting done. What a treat it will be when in full bloom. I love the rose bud picture. Hopefully one of these days soon, I'll be seeing some color sprout up in the yard.
Thanks Mo for visiting with me and your sweet comments.

I'm wanting to get outside, but it's only 34 degrees at the moment and is supposed to be cool most of the week. Drat! And it's my spring break! I'll be planting a different variety of lavender, and will have to share with the grasshoppers, I'm sure. ♥♫

How lovely to see a little glimpse of `you` Mo. Is that French Lavender? Not quite time for our lavender to bloom here yet - you`re lucky with your weather!Poor little dandelion - so different from the beautiful rose and pretty lavender. Have a great week, Mo. Happy Gardening. x

I planted some lavender this year as well and I really like it. I want to fill all my flower beds with it now. Your pictures are so pretty.
