We have all seen the horrific pictures and television coverage of Hurricane Sandy's aftermath.
Our prayers are heard by Heaven as those whose lives have been ravaged remain in our thoughts.
This blog is called "Rose Petals from Heaven" and from the first day I have devoted it to our Heavenly Mother and Saint Therese of the Roses.
During these trying times it is hard and sometimes impossible to find the rose petals that fall gently upon us as we endure unspeakable tragedy;
Even though Heaven is constantly reminding us that faith endures even through the fires of hell.

Dearest Mo,
Yes, earthly tragedies unfold before our eyes. Let us all pray that we will regain high morals again in this country! You are brave enough to dedicate your blog to our Heavenly Mother Mary and to Saint Therese of the Roses but our president is not in favor of religion... We need it so badly.
By the way, where are your photos from? Is that from the hurricane Sandy?
Hugs to you,
Mariette
This is a beautiful reminder and post. Prayers ascending for all suffering from the storm.
Always, Queenie
Yes, these pictures are from Breezy Point in New York after Hurricane Sandy.
Thanks for asking.

Dearest Mo,
Thanks for your update. It is surely remarkable that this Virgin Mary statue remained untouched after the fire in Breezy Point, Queens destroyed at least 50 homes. What a fate for New York. And other states as well. Our prayers go out for all involved.
Hugs to you,
Mariette
Beautiful, emotive images in this post. Such tragic events. My thoughts and prayers are with all those who have suffered.
Hi Mo,
I am so sorry for all the damages and losts in this hurricane. It looks like after a war. I am shocked. I wish you all the strenghts to get through this desaster.
Hugs and greetings, Johanna
My prayers go out to all affected by the hurricane. I have a special devotion to Mary and St. therese. That is what brought me to your beautiful blog.
