Hawaiian Sea Turtles

One of our favorite things to do while in Hawaii,

Is to visit the honu , or sea turtles while they bask in the sun.

Of course we mustn't disturb these treasured creatures. 

And we hope they do not mind us here staring at them

Every time we are lucky enough to see the honu, I am fascinated all over again by their magnificent size and am thankful the species is protected and safe from harm.
